A “workout builder” is a tool that allows personal trainers to create, customize, and organize workout plans for their clients.

The My PT Hub workout builder allows coaches to create unlimited custom workouts (complete with exercise videos), assign them to their clients and track their clients’ progress through the app. Trainers can either build custom workouts or download (and edit) any of the thousands of free templates included as part of your My PT Hub subscription.

The workout builder streamlines the process of creating personalized workout plans for clients. It saves time by allowing trainers to reuse templates, modify existing workouts based on your clients’ progression, and customize routines for different fitness goals, such as weight loss, muscle gain, or endurance training.

Yes, absolutely. Trainers can upload their own custom exercise videos (with additional images and/or text, as desired) through your My PT Hub account. Videos can be uploaded directly into your account, or via YouTube or Vimeo.



Alternatively, trainers can use our extensive library of 8,000+ HD exercise videos, which can also be used as templates to create your own.

Workouts are shared (or “assigned”) to clients directly through your account. Trainers can assign Workouts to individual clients, multiple clients or a group of clients (e.g. your Wednesday bootcamp class). Workouts can also be made available as on-demand content by assigning them to a Package, which trainers can provide to clients for free or behind a paywall (e.g. by charging a monthly subscription service for access). 



Clients will then receive their Workouts through their app, alongside a push notification, ready for them to complete. 



Clients can log their Workouts through the app. Trainers can track clients progress of any completed Workouts, including feedback from their clients. Trainers can also log Workouts on their clients’ behalf, for example, if they’re with them in a face-to-face gym session.

Workouts can be assigned to clients to complete individually or scheduled for specific days and/or times using the Programs feature.

Trainers can add Workouts (alongside Nutrition Plans, Forms and other assignments) into multi-week Programs, which can then be assigned for clients to complete over a set period of time. Trainers can assign Programs to start from a specific date, or let clients choose their own start date.
